Jarrad Abshire wasn’t always a savvy and financially successful entrepreneur. He started his career as a high school band director. After two years in this position, he realized that he was facing a future of working 30 to 40 years and then retiring on 40% of the income he had been accustomed to making. Realizing this, he started looking for another way to create supplemental income. He tried several “part-time” opportunities with some success, but when he met his sponsor in 2009, everything changed. He asked her what she did for a living, and she invited him to the next business presentation.

While working a few years in Ambit on a part time basis, he was able to completely replace his income from teaching and retire. Now, with more than a decade of experience in the industry, Jarrad is a Top 50 Income Earner and has won Ambit’s Pure Energy award. He has now created a lifelong passive income that has surpassed what he would have earned in retirement from teaching.
